The Santa Clarita Community College District/College of the Canyons is seeking a full-time Director, Business Partnerships and Workforce Engagement in the Academic Affairs division. The ideal candidate will share our college’s commitment to educating the more than 32,000 racially and socioeconomically diverse students we enroll each year. Currently, our student body is approximately 45.4 percent Latinx/Hispanic, 32.2 percent White, 6.3 percent Asian, 5.5 percent African-American, 4.5 percent Pacific Islander, 2 percent multi-ethnic, and less than 1 percent Native American. Under the supervision and direction of the Dean, Career Technical Education and Integrative Learning, the Director will assist in the overall implementation and expansion of business and community partnerships, providing of information about educational programs to business and community members, and the Director will actively participate as the College’s liaison with business and industry, providing information regarding the needs of business to the Campus Community. Management and implementation of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy, as well as managing, coordinating, developing, evaluating and executing a variety of projects and activities related to the Advanced Technology Center. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:


Minimum two years full-time experience providing support for career education programs or support for state or regional initiatives related to career education including prior experience interfacing with both public and private sector employees and organizations. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Web and Outlook computer skills are essential.


Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration or related degree.


Possession and maintenance of a valid California driver license.
