Job Summary
The job of Fiscal Accountant is done for the purpose/s of providing support to department activities with specific responsibility for e1nsuring that overall fiscal policies, practices, and regulations meet compliance requirements; analyzing labor and benefits costs; evaluating feasibility of services within budget parameters; ensuring efficient use of financial resources; reconciling monthly accounts; providing financial information, guidance, and recommendations to the department administration, Board, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in job-related area.
Experience:
• Job-related experience in school business accounting preferred, with increasing levels of responsibility.
