Avenues Supported Living Services is a non-profit agency, where we Coach, Teach and Instruct adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to live a life of their choosing in their homes, in the community and at their paid and volunteer job sites.
Responsibilities of an Instructional Coach
- Direct Support for individuals with DD/ID
- Job Coaching
-Teach/Coach and Instruct in Daily Living Skills in the community and at home
- Transport the individuals you support in the community
Requirements of an Instructional Coach
- Live Scan Clearance
- Clean Driving Record
- High School Diploma
- Ability to write or dictate progress notes daily

Valid Driver’s license and current automobile insurance OR ability to take local transit (accompanying people supported); clean DMV report (if using own vehicle to transport people); and fingerprint clearance (Livescan). Ability to communicate verbally in English in order to be an effective liaison between the person you are supporting and community members.
