Job Description


In compliance with the company's policies and procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), plan, organize, lead and control the general accounting, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to assure achievement of the company's goals and objectives.

HR Responsibilities:

· Recruiting and staffing logistics

· Organizational and space planning

· Performance management and improvement systems

· Organization development

· Regulatory compliance and reporting

· Employee orientation, development, and training

· Policy development and documentation

· Employee relationship management

· Company-employee communication

· Compensation and benefits administration

· Employee safety, welfare, and wellness education

· Facilitate/coordinate organizational outside events

Payroll Responsibilities:

· Collecting and verifying timesheets

· Entering employee information and payroll data into the system

· Answering employee questions and concerns regarding payroll

· Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions

· Processing new employees, promotions, and terminations

· Issuing statements detailing earnings and deductions

· Issuing and delivering paychecks to employees

· Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies

· Maintaining and updating payroll records

· Preparing periodic payroll reports

· Process bi-weekly payroll

Job Requirements
To perform the job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the following education, experience, knowledge, competencies and skills:

College degree in Accounting or related field, 5 years of experience; or related experience and education
Excellent accounting program skills (e.g. QuickBooks, etc.)
Excellent financial and mathematical skill sets
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Fluency in verbal and written English required
Excellent computer and typing skills required (e.g. Excel and Word)
Ability to learn new computer programs and software (e.g. Epicor tracking system)
