The Santa Clarita Community College District/College of the Canyons is seeking a full-time Student Services Coordinator I (Career Center) in the Student Services division.

"BIG PICTURE" RESPONSIBILITY:

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Job Placement for Workforce Development, coordinates a wide variety of complex and specialized administrative and technical functions, serves as a management aide to the administrator providing relief from administrative and clerical detail, and assists in the organization and coordination of the staff activities of the administrator’s office and Career Central training room. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Equivalent to two (2) years of full-time experience in a recruiting or staffing role. Working knowledge of word processing, business office organization, financial record keeping and other related skill areas including computer literacy.



Education:

Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units) from an accredited institution is required. Two years direct experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each one year (30 semester units) of college.
