This temporary, hourly position will assist the Welding/Manufacturing Technology Program Department Chair and faculty between the college's Welding Program locations. These locations are: the Valencia Campus, Interim Applied Technology Center, Castaic High School, and Pitchess Detention Center.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in metal processing to produce instructional materials.
- Performing light duty maintenance of welding equipment.
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly lab environment.
- Assisting students and the instructor as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment and materials.
- Participate in departmental events and meetings.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
Requirements to apply in order to be considered for the position:
- Work experience as working as a welder in machining/manufacturing environment.
- Available on a flexible basis during the week.
